Working the 1715 Treasure Fleet with Legendary Treasure Finders, Fizz & Buddy

This is a current and ongoing expedition

Because of my good friendship with famous treasure hunters (finders) Carl "Fizz" Fismer and Buddy Martin we are working together this season on the famous 1715 Treasure Fleet. Over the years both Fizz and

1715 Treasure Fleet Salvage Vessel
28 Foot Blackfin Salvage Vessel with twin inboard Yanmar diesel engines
Buddy have both had a lot of success recovering sunken treasure on the 1715 Fleet. Also the Treasure Expeditions Dive team and I have also had a lot of success in finding sunken treasure.

This season we are primarily using two recovery vessels. We are using a 28 foot Blackfin with twin inboard Yanmar diesel engines. It is great to have a vessel this size with twin inboard diesel engines. This vessel is a great workhorse and she can also go close to 40 knots at full speed while hardly using any fuel. This vessel is equipped with all the newest electronics including multiple chart plotters, color video sounders, radar, etc. She is also set up with a Brownie Third Lung so we can keep multiple divers on the bottom for hours without the need for a diver to surface. We also carry several scuba tanks if divers want to utilize a scuba system.

We have also built a special vessel for working the hazardous inshore shallow reefs of one of our wreck sites. This vessel is more of a diver support platform. The inshore reef is treacherous because on the seaward side the bottom goes from about an 8 foot depth with a sandy bottom to, in some places, less than a foot of water over a very jagged and rugged reef. Our specially created vessel is equipped with a high powered water dredge, 300 gallons per minute, and lift to clear the sediment. The vessel also has a Brownie Third Lung System which can provide air for up to four divers at a time on bottom.

We have two main target wrecks we are working on, including a potential 1500's wreck, and some new proprietary information which might lead to some new targets. We will keep you updated.
