In this section, instead of providing a long rambling biography, I listed sections of my life such as Medical Research, TV & Film, Treasure Expeditions, etc, so that you can quickly skim through and find any section you are interested in and then find out more info on that part of my life. I hope you find the info interesting.
Biotechnology is a fascinating and very demanding field. It is comprised of the sciences of quantum physics, quantum mechanics, quantum engineering, chemistry, biology, genetics and computer science. Thankfully, I am currently in the graduate program at the prestigious Johns Hopkins University & Medicine and working towards my goal of receiving an MD in internal medicine and a PhD in Biotechnology.
I was grateful to be accepted into the graduate program at Johns Hopkins University & Medicine, which is considered the top medical school for medical research in the nation and somehow, I have maintained a 4.0 GPA. My area of concentration is in human genetic bioengineering to cure disease and increase the quality of life for people.
Archaeology is one of my hobbies and when I am not in a lab doing medical research, I can often be found diving in search of a sunken Spanish treasure galleon, trekking through Egypt and exploring its mysteries, etc. Currently, as a hobby, I am studying and taking courses in archaeology through Harvard.
The above photo is of me on location in the Caribbean with the entire production crew and Josh Gates on the set of an episode we filmed on the Pirate Captain Kidd. I have been blessed to have been on numerous episodes through seasons 3,4,5 & 6 for this hit TV show, Expedition Unknown on the Discovery Channel. I have also worked with Warner Brothers on the film Fools Gold, featuring Mathew McConaughey, Kate Hudson and Donald Sutherland. Additionally, I appeared with Philippe Cousteau on their TV show for the Travel Channel and other filming projects.
Often, I am off traveling the world on one of my expeditions. These expeditions range from diving on a sunken Spanish treasure galleon, recovering treasure and artifacts or trekking through Egypt, exploring its mysteries. I have always been an explorer and always will be. It is my lust for knowledge and the thrill of adventure which constantly drive me. Also, I am very passionate about solving mysteries such as the location of the Lost Dutchman Gold mine or the truth behind the legends of pirates and their treasures. As my mentor always said to me and I share with you, Insisto Vestri Somnium
My main area of focus in medical research is in the field of human genetic bio-engineering. My goal is to use genetic engineering, through processes such as CRISPR-Cas9, to permanently cure people of diseases and infirmities. Furthermore, I am endeavoring to find ways to increase the quality of life and even to treat or cure the disease of aging.
This is me out on one of my explorations. I was diving on a sunken Spanish treasure galleon off the coast of Florida.
